The most picturesque of la Hague's ports is without doubt Port Racine, reputed to be the smallest port in France.
Poking out from the rocks of de Saint-Germain-des-Vaux, it takes its name from a famous corsair: François Médard Racine, one of Napoleon's vassals.
A haven for fishermen, first among equals here, and for holdaymakers and locals. In summer bathers abound on the port.
All year round, sea lovers and those who appreciate marine environments will find a unique atmosphere here.
