The Channel Islands

Five very distinct islands compose the norman archipelago: Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark. There are a few miles apart from our coastline of la Hague.

JERSEY
This is the biggest of the channel islands. This is a colourful island. Its vegetation is exceptional thanks to its temperate climate. Visitors will be astounded by the landscapes and the coastline Here everything is prosperous. In Saint-Hélier, a very busy capital, tradition and modernity are mixed. You will find the british spirit in all pubs and picturesque cottages but also in important hotels and gastronomic restaurants. Outdoor pursuits are numerous  and take place in an ideal environment.

GUERNESEY
You disembark in Saint-Peter-Port, the capital city. This port town welcome you with its busy streets, its shops, its restaurants and pubs. The nature offers many landscapes  such as cliffs and creeks, long sandy beaches and wooded valleys.
Architecture is als very contrasted, then closetogether you can find modern houses and fortifications or typical cottages. Guernsey was the exil homeland of Victor Hugo. Today his house called « Hauteville House » is opened to visitors.

ALDERNEY
Very wild and exposed to wind, Alderney is a paradise for walkers and lovers of Nature. On long white sandy beaches , beauty of landscapes and quietness are offered to the visitor.
