Manoir du Tourp-Maison de la Hague


The Tourist Board of la Hague organizes the 5th edition of its Autumn's Plant Fair, "PLANTES & SAVEURS D'AUTOMNE", on saturday 26th  & sunday 27th September 2009  in the Manoir du Tourp, in Omonville-la-Rogue.

PLANTES & SAVEURS D'AUTOMNE is an open air plant and gardening fair held once a year on the grounds of the Manoir du Tourp.

It welcomes more than 60 exhibitors, who share their knowledge with the visitors -expert gardeners or beginners-, and help them to discover the botanical and unusual varieties of their collections : roses, hydrangea, perennials, bulbs, fuchsias, hedges, cactaceae, palms and many exotic plants...


You will discover also the essential accessories for the gardener, a selection of our best local and gastronomical products for the gourmet, a botanical bookshop, activities for the children, associations of gardners, exhibitions of photos...

 

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS

When? On the saturday 26th and sunday 27th september 2009, from 10.00 am to 6.30pm
Where? Open air exhibit and in a marquee in the Manoir du Tourp, Omonville-la-Rogue (50, Manche, Normandy)
Admission : 2,50€/adult, Free for children (under 18)
Services : Free parking, wheelbarrows carriers, pic-nic area, restaurant les Murets : 02 33 01 02 20

 

EXHIBITIONS

"Alexandre Trauner, peintures d'un grand créateur de décors de cinéma"
Till the 4th of october, the retrospective on its paintings, drawings and photographs retraces Alexandre Trauner's prestigious career as production designer.

Le Jardin des Lecteurs
For this 5th edition of Plantes & Saveurs d'Automne, the readers of the library Côtis-Capel exhibit their own garden... in a frame! Their photographs will be exhibited in the library from the 26th of september to the 30th january 2010. You're invited to vote for your favourite! Médiathèque Côtis-Capel dans la Cour du Manoir

HOW TO COME?

*FROM PARIS (3h30), A13 or N13, via Caen (1h30) on the way to Cherbourg. Exit "La Hague", after  Valognes. Follow RD56, on the way to Beaumont-Hague. In Beaumont-Hague, follow Omonville-la-Rogue/Le Tourp.
*FROM RENNES (2h30), A84 on the way to Caen. Exit 38, on the way to St Lô and Cherbourg. From Cherbourg, take the RD45 (coast line) on the way to Urville-Nacqueville, then Omonville-la Rogue/Le Tourp.
